Google has removed the public web page that enabled webmasters to submit a site to Google.
You now have to login to your Google account to inform Google about your site. For that reason, Google can now be found in the semi-automatic submitter in IBP.
If you want to make sure that Google lists your website, you have to do two things:
A website that has backlinks from other sites will automatically be found by Google. To get listed on Google, Yahoo and Bing, you don’t have to submit your site at all. They will find your website through the links on other sites.
When you submit your website to Google, you just inform Google that your website exists. A website submission does not mean that your website will be listed on Google.
Search engine submission is the least important step in search engine optimization. It used to be important several years ago but it isn’t anymore today. It is much more important to have optimized web pages and good inbound links.
Without optimized web pages and good inbound links a website cannot get high rankings and search engine submission is totally pointless.
With the powerful tools in IBP, you will get your website on the first result page on Google, Yahoo and Bing for your keywords.
